AANB SARL (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “AANB”), a Luxembourg private limited company incorporated under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies’ Register under number B250004, whose registered office is at 28, rue du Golf, L-1638 Senningerberg, is in charge, in the capacity of data controller, of the collection and processing of your personal data on this website. AANB attaches great importance to the respect of your privacy and is aware of the importance you attach to it.

In this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”), the current version of which is effective as of 1 January 2026, “you” and “your” means you, the individual, acting either on your own behalf or on behalf of a company which you represent or for which you act as a contact person, who is using the website and/or ordering the products, the latter referring to AANB products which may be ordered on our website (the “Product”).

This Privacy Policy will explain how we manage the personal data that we collect and use through this website and how to contact us if you have any further queries about our management of your personal data.

We will process your personal data in relation with our activities in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations (including but not limited to the Regulation n°2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), as may be amended or replaced, collectively the “Data Protection Laws”).

1. When is your personal data collected?

During the use of this website, we may collect your personal data in different places or at different times when:

  • You create an account on the website;
  • You buy Products on the website;
  • You get in touch with us for information or support purposes (“Contact” section);
  • You request notifications from us.

We take care to collect only the data strictly necessary for the purposes described under section 3 below.

2. What categories of personal data will be collected and processed?

Your personal data refers to all information that concerns you as a physical individual and that allows you to be identified, directly or indirectly.
In addition to, or as part of, the personal data you have communicated to us directly and the personal data set out under section 3 below, we may collect and process the following personal data when you use this website:

  • Identity data: title, surname, first names, address, telephone number (fixed and/or mobile), e-mail addresses, date of birth (a copy of an identity document may in certain cases be requested as proof of identity in the course of the exercise of a right of the data subject);
  • Data relating to the means of payment: postal or bank identity statement and/or account number, cheque number, bank card number, expiry date of the bank card, visual cryptogram;
  • Data relating to a sales transaction, such as the transaction number and date, details of the purchase, subscription, ordered goods or services subscribed to;
  • Data relating to the follow-up of the commercial relationship: requests for documentation, requests for trials, Products purchased, services or subscriptions subscribed to, delivery address, history of purchases and services, Product returns, correspondence with you and after-sales service, exchanges and comments from customers and prospects;
  • Data relating to the payment of invoices: terms of payment, receipts, balances, unpaid invoices;
  • Data relating to the organization and processing of promotional operations such as the date of participation, the answers given to competitions and the nature of the prizes offered;
  • Data relating to the contributions of persons who post opinions on Products, services or content, including their pseudonym and opinion content;
  • Data of your on-line browsing in relation with accepted non-essential cookies.

Some of the information collected is mandatory to achieve the purposes described in section 3 below, others are optional. You are systematically informed of the mandatory or optional nature of the information when it is collected. If you do not fill in certain mandatory fields, this may result in AANB being unable to provide you with the ordered Product or be able to make contact with you in the future.

3. Why and how long will we use your personal data?

Data collected in connection with the use of the website are processed for the purposes and legal grounds described below:

a. Management of our relations with our customers and prospects

In order to manage our relations with our customers and prospects, we collect the relevant personal data for customer management (including the sale, delivery and return of Products and, if applicable, the creation of a personal account for the customer), billing management, marketing and sales analytics, and the management of the rights of access, rectification, opposition and other rights relating to the protection of personal data. We do not share any personal data for commercial purposes with third parties. We do not carry out profiling activities based on automated decisions.

Data: identity data (including age or age category, address/region, e-mail address, telephone number), correspondence, data relating to transactions (including Product orders and returns, data relating to means of payment, bank account information, invoices, remittances, deductions, oppositions and financial data), comments and client opinions, data relating to the exercise of rights relating to the processing of personal data (including, in certain cases, a copy of an identity document).

Legal basis (customer and billing management): such processing is necessary to take steps prior to entering into a contract or for the performance of a contract with you or your company.
Legal basis (marketing and sales analytics): such processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in improving our Products and website and making our Products known on the market.
Legal basis (management of rights relating to the protection of personal data): such processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject.

Data retention: Customer and billing management data is kept during the contractual relationship and ten years after its termination. Marketing data is kept for a period of three years from the end of the commercial relationship or the last contact with the prospects. Sales analytics data is kept for a period of 13 months. Data relating to the exercise of rights relating to the processing of personal data are kept for the time necessary to treat the request and possible proceedings related thereto, up to the expiry of related terms of limitation. In the event of communication of identity documents for the exercise of your rights, the data will be kept only for as long as necessary to identify you .

b. Handling your enquiries

We process the personal data you provide to us in the context of your requests and enquiries (Contact).

Data: identity data provided through the Contact access form, contents of enquiries and responses.

Legal basis: consent (your willingness to provide us with these data for processing to obtain a response to your enquiry). If your enquiry concerns a (potential) contract (to be) concluded with AANB, the processing of your data can be necessary to take steps prior to entering into a contract or for the performance of a contract with you or your company.

Data retention: enquiries and responses are kept for two years from the last contact or, for topics related to a contract with AANB, for a period of 10 years after the termination of the contractual relationship.

c. Management and protection of our website and related service improvement and optimization

We process personal data for purposes of the management of our website (including the identification and solving of technical problems, the improvement of its performance and the provision of enhanced functionality and personalization), for related service improvement and optimization and for the protection against cyber security threats and fraud.

Data: identity data (including e-mail address, contact data, navigation data (IP address, technical data on the equipment and browser, time stamp, pages visited, links consulted, city of connection, number of visits, date and time), analytics data on the usage of publications (eg newsletters viewed and files downloaded) and contact forms, as well as on the interaction with, and use of, the online services and Products.

Legal basis for non-technical (analytical) cookies: consent.
Legal basis for other purposes set out under this section 3 c) : such processing (including in relation to technical (strictly necessary and functional) cookies) is necessary for our legitimate interests to implement actions to ensure and monitor the correct functioning and security of our website and to fight fraud, as well as to improve and optimize our services.

Data retention: log data is stored for six months, data required for the production of audience and usage analytics for online services is stored for a maximum of thirteen months. For retention periods relating to cookies please refer to our cookie policy under section 8.

d. Accounting

In order to comply with our various legal obligations arising from the exercise of our commercial activities, we process the relevant personal data for the purpose of drawing up and monitoring our accounts.

Data: identity data, address, bank details, information on the nature of transactions carried out, payment of invoices, fees, taxes and duties.

Legal basis: such processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

Data retention: ten years from the end of the financial year to which the relevant documents correspond. Beyond that, the data may be archived for ten years on a separate computer medium with authorized access.

e. Communication and event management

We collect and process personal data relevant to the management of our communication (newsletters, downloadable documents, press) and our events (registration, logistical organization, evaluation, statistics).

Data: identity data (including email address and/or other contact details), e-mail exchange in relation to follow-up of event organization (registration, information and information requests, feedback and post-event communication), statistics.

Legal basis: such processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in implementing communication actions to publicize our Products and services.
Legal basis: such processing, when the communication actions are consecutive to the voluntary transmission of your e-mail address with a view to receiving newsletters or downloading documents on our platform, is based on your consent (which may be withdrawn at any time).

Data retention: data for the sending of newsletters is kept as long as the data subject does not un-subscribe, data related to events is not kept beyond three years after the event has taken place.

f. Management of complaints and litigation

To the extent necessary, we process personal data relevant to the handling of complaints, disputes and (potential) litigation, including for purposes of obtaining legal advice.

Data: data necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and data relating to the exercise of rights relating to the processing of personal data (including, if necessary, a copy of an identity document).

Legal basis: such processing is necessary for purposes of legitimate interests pursued by AANB, in particular the correct management of disputes and litigation. Processing in the scope of the exercise of your rights relating to the protection of personal data is necessary to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject.

Data retention: personal data are kept for the time necessary to treat the complaint, dispute or litigation, up to the expiry of the terms of limitation applicable thereto.

4. Recipients of your personal data

The personal data covered by the Privacy Policy are exclusively intended for the use of AANB. They may nevertheless be transmitted to third parties with which AANB is in relation in the context of the execution of its services, in particular and only to the extent necessary to :

  • External service providers such as providers of hosting and IT services, providers of services relating to the management and processing of payments on the site or the delivery and possible returns of Products (in particular, the data relating to the payment method (credit card number, expiry date, authorization number, security code) are collected directly by our service provider STRIPE), communication agencies and event management providers, external auditors and fiduciaries, experts and legal counsel.
  • A third party at the request of the judicial authorities, tax or any other public authority empowered by law.
  • A third party in the context of a restructuring, transfer or acquisition of one or more entities of the group of companies to which AANB belongs.

Your personal data are not transmitted to any other third party.

AANB also ensures that, in principle, any transfer of your personal data to third parties does not result in a transfer to a third country outside the European Union or to a country which does not have a similar level of protection of personal data as the European Union. Should such transfers nevertheless be necessary, they will, in accordance with the GDPR:

  • be limited to what is necessary to perform the contract with you, or to conclude a contract with a third party in your interest, or
  • be justified by the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or
  • be covered by appropriate safeguards, such as entering into EC approved standard contractual clauses with data importers, or,
  • in exceptional cases, take place with your consent. In such case, AANB will ask for your consent separately.

5. Protection of your personal data

We implement security measures that are appropriate and reasonable in view of the risks represented by the processing, in order to protect your personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and any other form of unlawful processing.

All employees and processors of AANB who have access to your personal data in the course of their duties are bound by strict professional confidentiality. They access only the data they need to perform their duties.

6. Your Rights

As we process your personal data, you have the following rights at any time and within the limits set by the Data Protection Laws:

  • to access your personal data (to know which data have been collected and processed and to obtain a copy of the data);
  • to request to rectify, correct or update inaccurate and/or incomplete data;
  • if the preconditions set out in the GDPR are met, to object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds; you shall at any time have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes;
  • if the preconditions set out in the GDPR are met, to request that the processing of your data be limited or definitively deleted (right to erasure);
  • to request to receive a copy of the personal data you have provided to us in a structured format where the processing is based on your consent or on a contract (articles 6(1)(a), 9(2)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR) and carried out by automated means (right to portability), unless this right infringes the rights and freedoms of third parties;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time for processing operations based on it, without however affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;

You should note that the GDPR authorizes AANB to retain and continue processing certain personal data, even where you have exercised your rights to object or rights of erasure : this is the case in particular where AANB has legitimate and compelling reasons for continuing the processing, such as compliance with applicable law or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
